Slippery road conditions are expected to impact evening and weekend travel, particularly along major roadways like I-79 and U.S. Route 30.
Residents are urged to exercise caution and allow extra travel time, especially during the Friday evening commute. Additional snow showers on Saturday may exacerbate hazardous conditions, with light winds increasing visibility concerns in some areas.
Looking ahead, Sunday is expected to remain mostly cloudy with highs near 30°F, offering a brief reprieve before another chance of snow Monday night into Tuesday.
Drivers should prepare for winter conditions by equipping vehicles with necessary supplies and checking local traffic reports. The NWS encourages residents to report snow or ice accumulations through social media or by calling their local office.
