Buffalo, NY – Light, fluffy snow continues to accumulate across Western New York, making roads increasingly snow-covered and slippery as the sun sets, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) Buffalo.
Lake-effect snow is expected to persist into the evening, primarily southeast of the lakes. According to the NWS, drivers should exercise caution on untreated roads, as conditions may deteriorate quickly after sunset.
Snowfall is expected to taper off overnight, with colder temperatures keeping roadways slick into Friday morning.
