Buffalo, NY – Western New York is set to experience a dynamic weather pattern this week, beginning with fair, warm conditions and ending with a cold front bringing strong thunderstorms.

According to the National Weather Service Buffalo, weak high pressure will maintain sunny and warm weather through the weekend. Today’s highs will reach 84°F with mostly clear skies. However, this tranquility will be short-lived as a cold front approaches on Monday, introducing a 45% chance of strong to severe thunderstorms. Highs will slightly drop to 82°F.

As the cold front advances, Tuesday brings a continued risk of showers, with temperatures cooling further to a high of 72°F. By midweek, the region will see a significant drop in temperatures, with Wednesday’s highs only reaching 78°F under sunny skies.

Thursday and Friday are expected to maintain cooler, more comfortable conditions, with highs of 79°F and 82°F respectively, accompanied by partly cloudy skies. The weekend will see a slight increase in temperatures, with highs in the low 80s, but rain chances will persist.
