Buffalo, NY – A mix of snow, rain, and fluctuating temperatures will shape the first full week of February in western New York. Monday will bring warmer conditions, with highs in the 40s, but snow showers and patchy drizzle will move through tonight.

According to the National Weather Service, light snow will develop this afternoon, with accumulations between 1–2 inches expected, especially east of Lake Ontario. Rain and snow showers will linger into Monday morning before a brief warm-up pushes temperatures into the mid-40s. By Tuesday, conditions dry out with a partly sunny sky and highs around 30°F.

Colder air returns Wednesday night with another round of snow showers, possibly leading to slick road conditions. The pattern continues Thursday, with rain and snow likely before temperatures dip back into the 20s by Friday.

Residents should stay prepared for fluctuating conditions and potential icy roads overnight. Snow totals will be light, but changing weather could impact commutes. Stay tuned for updates from the National Weather Service.
