Charleston, WV – Warmer temperatures will bring rain to West Virginia early in the week before another round of winter weather arrives later.

According to the National Weather Service, Charleston can expect a high near 55°F Tuesday, with a 30% chance of rain between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Cooler air will follow, leading to a drop in temperatures overnight. By Friday, a mix of rain and snow is possible as highs reach only the upper 40s.

Sunday and Monday will remain mostly sunny, with highs in the low to mid-50s. However, Wednesday night into Thursday could bring a 70% chance of rain. Motorists should plan for slick roads by late week as colder air moves in.

Temperatures will remain mild early in the week but expect changing conditions by Thursday. Stay updated with the latest forecasts as winter weather lingers.
