Grand Junction, CO – A winter weather advisory has been issued for Colorado’s mountain regions, predicting up to a foot of snow through early Monday.

According to the National Weather Service, the Elkhead and Park Mountains, Flat Tops, and Rabbit Ears Pass will face significant snowfall beginning Sunday at 6 a.m. and lasting until 6 a.m. Monday. Snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches are expected, with gusty winds reaching 40 mph in some areas.
