Today’s snow showers may impact commuters, especially in higher elevations of Pennsylvania and New York.
Heavy rain is forecast to return late this week, with some regions expecting up to 2 inches of rain, possibly more in areas like Harrisburg, PA, and Washington, D.C. The rain could be intense at times, raising concerns about river rises and potential flooding.
Residents in the affected areas are advised to prepare for the possibility of poor travel conditions and take necessary precautions ahead of the weekend storm.
