Winds gusting up to 35 mph will create drifting snow and difficult driving conditions. The Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 a.m. Saturday.
In Idaho, snow continues to fall across Kamiah, Winchester, and surrounding areas, with accumulations of 1 to 3 inches expected. Areas above 3,000 feet will see the heaviest snowfall. Gusty winds up to 30 mph are creating hazardous travel conditions. The advisory for Lewis and Southern Nez Perce counties lasts until 10 a.m. Saturday.
Drivers should prepare for challenging road conditions, especially along Highway 2 in Washington and Soldiers Meadow Road in Idaho. Officials urge motorists to slow down, allow extra travel time, and use caution when navigating snowy or icy roads.
