Spokane, WA – Rain is expected to return to Spokane by late Saturday morning, accompanied by gusty winds that could reach 20 mph, creating slick roads and reduced visibility during midday travel.

According to the National Weather Service, the chance of precipitation spikes to 80% before 11 a.m. Saturday, with lighter showers possible through the afternoon. Winds will shift from calm to southwest at 5 to 9 mph, with gusts building as the day progresses. New rainfall totals are expected to remain below a tenth of an inch, but brief bursts could still affect drivers.

Saturday night skies will clear up, but temperatures will dip into the high 30s. Sunday and Monday will bring partly sunny conditions and highs near 59°F, though another round of showers could move in Monday afternoon. The snow level could briefly drop to 2600 feet before rising again.

Travelers should avoid speeding on wet roads, especially during the late morning hours Saturday. Wind gusts may also pose risks for high-profile vehicles and outdoor plans.

While no formal advisory has been issued, updates remain likely as weather patterns evolve. Another chance of showers returns next Friday.
