Seattle, WA – While Seattle residents will enjoy sunny skies and springlike warmth through midweek, Spokane is bracing for frosty mornings, scattered showers, and gusty afternoon winds Monday that could hit 30 mph.

According to the National Weather Service, a 30% chance of rain will develop in Spokane after 2 p.m. Monday, with snow levels dropping to 2,900 feet before climbing to 4,100 feet later in the day. Winds could gust up to 20 mph. Widespread frost is expected overnight into Tuesday, with lows dipping to 32°F.

Meanwhile, Western Washington will stay mostly dry and pleasant. Seattle will see mostly sunny skies with highs near 60°F Tuesday and warming to 72°F by Thursday. Calm conditions dominate until Thursday night, when a slight chance of rain moves in.

Drivers in Spokane should watch for slick roads early Tuesday, especially in low-lying or shaded areas. Those commuting over higher elevations should prepare for light snow or mixed precipitation. Residents are encouraged to cover outdoor plants and check on vulnerable neighbors due to the frost risk.

Rain chances rise again for both cities by Friday, with Spokane facing a 30% chance and Seattle looking at overnight showers. More updates are expected by midweek as the pattern shifts again.
