Rain chances begin to climb on Monday, with a 30 percent chance of showers by late morning and higher likelihoods after 11 p.m. Rain will persist into early Tuesday, with temperatures holding in the upper 50s.

Weekend activities across King County and the Puget Sound region should proceed without interruption, but residents are urged to charge devices and check commutes in advance of Monday night’s system. The rain may also cause slick spots and minor pooling on roadways during the Tuesday morning drive.
