Seattle, WA – Rain will return to the Seattle area on Saturday, bringing wet conditions throughout the weekend as the region prepares to spring forward for daylight saving time. Showers will begin in the morning and continue throughout the day, making for a damp start to the weekend.

According to the National Weather Service, Saturday’s high will reach 57°F, with south winds between 7-10 mph. The chance of rain is 70%, though precipitation is expected to remain light. By Saturday night, temperatures will drop to a low of 39°F, with rain tapering off before midnight.

Sunday will see continued cloudy conditions, with a high near 54°F. Rain will return in the afternoon, accompanied by gusty south winds reaching up to 22 mph. The chance of precipitation increases to 80%, making for another wet day.

With daylight saving time beginning at 2 a.m. on Sunday, residents should set their clocks forward one hour before bed Saturday night. The time change means sunrise and sunset will shift later, bringing longer daylight hours.

Looking ahead, the rainy pattern will persist next week. Monday and Tuesday will see highs around 49°F with a 70% chance of rain each day. Wednesday may offer a brief break with cloudy skies, but showers are expected to return by Thursday.

Drivers should prepare for wet roads and allow extra travel time, especially during morning commutes. Raincoats and umbrellas will be essential for the week ahead.
