Seattle, WA – As Seattle heads into the workweek, rain will become a dominant feature, beginning Monday night. Expect cloudy skies throughout the day, with temperatures peaking around 64°F. South-southwest winds at 3 to 7 mph will accompany the weather.

According to the National Weather Service, rain is likely after 11 p.m. Monday, with overnight lows dropping to around 50°F. Winds will remain calm, blowing at 7 to 9 mph, with up to an 80% chance of precipitation. Light rain may persist into Tuesday morning, though total accumulation will likely remain low, less than a tenth of an inch.

By Tuesday night, the rain will diminish, and mostly cloudy skies will take over. Temperatures will drop to around 49°F, with only a slight chance of additional rain.

Looking ahead to midweek, Seattle will experience mostly sunny skies Wednesday, with highs near 67°F. Temperatures will continue to climb, reaching a pleasant 75°F on Thursday, with clear skies expected.

Residents should prepare for wet conditions Monday night into Tuesday, especially if traveling.
