According to the National Weather Service, rain is expected to begin Thursday afternoon, with a 90% chance of precipitation Thursday night. Winds will shift from the southeast, increasing to 7 mph. By Friday, rain is nearly guaranteed, with a 100% chance of precipitation and new rainfall totals reaching up to half an inch.

Saturday morning, rain showers will mix with snow as temperatures drop. Areas near Seattle could see light snow accumulations, particularly in higher elevations. Roads, including I-5, may become slick, especially overnight into Sunday. Travelers should check for updates and drive cautiously.

Sunday will remain cold, with a mix of rain and snow continuing into the evening. Monday brings a slight chance of lingering snow showers before clearing. Plan for wet and chilly conditions throughout the week.
