Washington Spring Weather: Rain Showers and Mild Temps Expected in Seattle Through Friday

Seattle, WA – A wet and mild week is ahead for Seattle as spring weather settles in with scattered showers and cloudy skies. Rain is expected to start early Monday, with additional chances of precipitation through Friday.

According to the National Weather Service, showers are likely Monday morning, mainly before 7 a.m., with a 60% chance of rain. The day will remain mostly cloudy, with a high near 50°F. Light winds will shift from the south at 5 mph. Monday night brings a slight chance of showers before 10 p.m., with lows dropping to 44°F.

Tuesday will see increasing rain chances, mainly after 4 p.m., with an 80% likelihood of precipitation. Highs will stay in the low 50s, and wind speeds will remain light. By Tuesday night, showers will persist before tapering off in the early morning hours of Wednesday.

Midweek, Seattle will see off-and-on showers, with the heaviest rainfall expected between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Wednesday’s high will reach 52°F, with brief sunny breaks possible in the afternoon. Thursday will bring another round of light showers after 10 a.m., but skies will partially clear by the evening.

By Friday, rain will return, with a 50% chance of showers throughout the day and highs around 51°F. Looking ahead, Saturday is expected to be cloudy with additional rain likely.

Commuters should prepare for slick roads, particularly during the morning hours. Drivers on Interstate 5 and State Route 520 should expect reduced visibility during periods of heavier rain. Umbrellas and rain jackets will be essential as Seattle enters a typical damp spring pattern.
