Seattle, WA – A Flood Watch is in effect for the Seattle area from Monday morning through late Tuesday night as heavy rainfall threatens to overwhelm rivers and low-lying areas.
According to the National Weather Service, an atmospheric river is set to bring 3 to 5 inches of rain across western Washington, with locally higher amounts possible. This could cause excessive runoff leading to flooding in rivers, creeks, and streets. Wind gusts up to 38 mph may also impact travel.

• Friday: Cloudy with rain chances, high of 55°F.
