The snowfall is expected to intensify during the Friday evening commute, making roads, bridges, and overpasses particularly slippery.

The advisory affects areas such as Bland, Wythe, Pulaski, Montgomery, Craig, and Botetourt counties in Virginia, as well as Monroe and Greenbrier counties in West Virginia.
