By Sunday, highs will barely reach 21°F, and northwesterly winds could push wind chills as low as -2°F. The bitter cold will persist into Tuesday morning, with lows near 2°F and wind chills dipping below zero. By Tuesday afternoon, temperatures will rebound slightly, reaching 29°F under sunny skies. A gradual warming trend is expected by Wednesday, with highs climbing to 39°F.
Officials urge residents to check on vulnerable neighbors, bring pets indoors, and ensure outdoor faucets are covered to prevent freezing.
