Burlington, VT – Vermont residents can expect chilly, sunny days and clear nights in the coming days, with temperatures hovering in the upper 30s to mid-40s. The National Weather Service in Burlington forecasts a continuation of this cold yet clear weather pattern as the state heads into mid-November. With clear skies and high visibility, outdoor activities are feasible, but it’s essential to dress warmly and stay prepared for the lower wind chills, especially in the mornings and evenings.

According to the National Weather Service, today’s high is expected to reach around 41°F in Burlington, with light north winds between 7 to 10 mph. Temperatures will drop significantly tonight, dipping to a low of 21°F as winds become calm. For those planning evening commutes or travel along I-89, visibility will be excellent, although the chill may catch some off guard.

The cool, sunny conditions are set to persist on Thursday, with highs again reaching 44°F under mostly sunny skies. The temperature will again fall overnight, reaching around 24°F as light winds from the north continue. Friday will bring another day of sunshine with a high of 44°F, and evening temperatures will settle around 35°F.

Looking ahead to the weekend, temperatures may see a slight uptick, with highs approaching 48°F on Saturday. Clouds will increase slightly, but the overall weather will remain dry, allowing for outdoor plans without risk of precipitation. Sunday will be mostly sunny with a high near 50°F, offering a slight break from the cooler temperatures.
