Salt Lake City, UT – A winter weather advisory remains in effect for parts of Utah and southwest Wyoming, with snow expected to impact travel through Friday.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Salt Lake City, snowfall will continue across Southwest Wyoming, the Wasatch Back, and the Bear River Valley, creating hazardous conditions. Accumulations are forecasted between 3 and 5 inches in Evanston and Lyman, 1 to 3 inches in Bear Lake and Bear River Valley, and up to 6 inches in the Park City area and Ogden Valley. Snow levels are expected to drop throughout the day, falling from 6,000 feet to 5,000 feet by evening.

The winter weather advisory remains in effect until noon MST Friday for Southwest Wyoming and the Wasatch Back, while it will expire earlier, at 2 a.m. MST Friday, for the Bear Lake and Bear River Valley regions. Commuters should expect slick roads, blowing snow, and reduced visibility during peak travel times.
