Salt Lake City, UT – A snowstorm is forecast to hit Utah late Friday, potentially impacting travel along I-80 and surrounding areas.

According to the National Weather Service, snow is expected to begin after 11 p.m. Friday, with a 60% chance of accumulation. Drivers should prepare for slick roads and reduced visibility, especially along major routes. Between 1 to 2 inches of snow is predicted overnight.

Temperatures will drop to a low of 27 degrees, with light winds adding to the chill. The storm may continue into Saturday morning, with an additional 50% chance of snow through midday.
