Binghamton, NY – A final day of cold weather is expected across upstate New York on Friday before a warming trend brings more seasonable temperatures through the weekend, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) Binghamton.

Forecast highs will remain in the 20s on Friday, but temperatures will climb into the 30s and 40s by early next week. According to the NWS, this shift will bring relief after a stretch of frigid conditions.

Residents should continue to bundle up through Friday, but a more comfortable pattern is set to take hold in the coming days.
