Minneapolis, Minnesota – Pleasant weather returns to the Twin Cities just in time for the long weekend, with highs climbing into the upper 60s and mostly sunny skies expected through Memorial Day.

According to the National Weather Service in the Twin Cities, daytime highs from Friday through Monday will range from 65 to 70°F, with overnight lows between 35 and 50°F. While the majority of the region will remain dry, forecasters note a slight chance for isolated showers on Sunday and again on Memorial Day, especially in eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin.

The warmer pattern offers a welcome break after a cooler-than-average stretch. Cities like St. Paul, Bloomington, and Woodbury should see ideal conditions for outdoor plans, including parades and lake activities. Saturday appears to be the sunniest day, while Sunday and Monday may see increased cloud cover in the afternoon.

Travelers are advised to keep an eye on local radar, particularly on Sunday afternoon when brief showers may pop up. No severe weather is expected, but holiday drivers should remain alert during evening hours when visibility could drop slightly.

This stretch of mild, spring-like weather is expected to hold through Monday evening, with the next weather system potentially arriving midweek. More updates will follow as conditions develop.
