Pittsburgh, PA – Severe thunderstorms, including a slight risk of tornadoes, are forecast to hit Allegheny County late Sunday night. The storms are expected to begin after 10 p.m., bringing damaging winds, large hail, and the potential for isolated tornadoes. Wind gusts up to 20 mph could impact overnight travel, especially on major routes like I-376 and US-22.

The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a hazardous weather outlook for the area. Residents are advised to stay indoors during the storms and avoid travel if possible. Heavy rains could also cause localized flooding and power outages throughout the region.

As the cold front passes, conditions will improve by Monday morning. Clearing skies and cooler temperatures are expected, with a high near 64°F. Cooler, calm conditions will continue through midweek, with temperatures staying in the mid-60s and lows dipping into the low 40s.
