According to the NWS, the strongest storms will likely occur today over the Sangre de Cristo and Wet Mountains, with scattered thunderstorms continuing through Sunday. These storms could bring heavy rainfall, lightning, and strong winds. By Monday, temperatures will climb back into the mid-90s, but occasional thunderstorms will still threaten parts of the region.
Looking ahead, Pueblo can expect a sunny start to the week with highs near 88°F by Wednesday. Winds will be relatively mild, averaging 10 to 15 mph. Thunderstorm risks diminish after Tuesday, but the weather will remain unpredictable.
