According to the National Weather Service, light rain will develop after midnight Monday, with a 30% chance of showers lingering into Tuesday morning. Winds will pick up Tuesday, gusting up to 15 mph. Temperatures will peak around 70°F Monday but fall to 66°F Tuesday and 63°F by Thanksgiving.
Wednesday looks calm, with sunny skies and highs near 66°F. However, Wednesday night marks the start of heavier rain, with a 40% chance of overnight showers. Thanksgiving Day will bring a 60% chance of rain, with thunderstorms likely after 1 p.m. Travelers should exercise caution on Highway 74 and surrounding roads during peak travel hours.
Following the rain, temperatures will plunge. Friday will be sunny but cold, with highs struggling to reach 50°F. Overnight lows will dip to 26°F, the coldest of the week. Saturday will remain sunny but brisk, with highs only reaching 48°F.
