According to the National Weather Service (NWS), a wind advisory remains in effect until 6 p.m. Tuesday, followed by a Red Flag Warning from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Strong winds, low humidity, and dry vegetation create a high fire danger for much of Central Texas, including Austin, San Marcos, and surrounding counties.
