The storms are most likely to develop between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m.
Severe weather threats may continue into the night, moving eastward. Amarillo could see rainfall in the evening, with better chances expected in the western areas. Residents are urged to stay alert and secure outdoor objects due to the wind gusts.
