Overnight lows will drop into the single digits, with wind chills as low as 10 below zero due to strong north winds. The bitter cold could lead to hypothermia and burst water pipes if proper precautions aren’t taken.
Thursday’s Forecast:
• Morning: Frigid start with wind chills near zero.
• Afternoon: Mostly sunny, high near 35°F, but brisk northeast winds will make it feel colder.
• Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, low around 19°F.
Looking Ahead:
• Friday: Sunny, high near 42°F.
• Saturday: Warmer trend begins, reaching 56°F.
• Sunday: Spring-like temperatures near 71°F.
Residents should dress in layers, cover exposed skin, and protect outdoor pipes. Warmer temperatures return by the weekend as the Arctic air moves out.
