Nashville, TN – A winter storm warning remains in effect today as Tennessee braces for more snow and ice, making roads dangerous.
According to the National Weather Service, snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches are expected, with icy conditions worsening through the morning. The warning covers areas along and north of I-40, including Nashville, Clarksville, and Hendersonville.
Roads, especially bridges and overpasses, are likely to become slick. Commuters should expect delays and check 511 for travel updates. Temperatures will remain below freezing, but a warming trend is expected by the weekend.
Looking ahead, conditions will gradually improve by Thursday, with highs in the mid-30s. By Saturday, temperatures will rise into the mid-40s, with sunny skies returning.
