Memphis, TN – A frost advisory is in place for Memphis tonight as temperatures dip into the low 30s. Residents should take precautions to protect sensitive plants and outdoor belongings before temperatures plummet after midnight.

According to the National Weather Service, widespread frost will develop tonight, with lows reaching 33°F. Sunday morning will start cold but sunny, with temperatures warming to near 46°F by midday. Winds will remain calm, making it an ideal day for Small Business Saturday shoppers to venture out early in the sunshine.

The frost risk continues through Monday morning, with temperatures falling into the low 20s Sunday night. Drivers along major roadways like I-240 and Poplar Avenue should exercise caution as frost may impact visibility during early commutes. Winds from the north will help keep conditions clear and dry, but roads may still be slick.

Looking ahead, Monday and Tuesday bring sunny skies and slightly warmer afternoons, with highs in the mid-40s to low 50s. However, frost will linger during the overnight hours. By midweek, temperatures rebound into the mid-50s, with a slight chance of rain late Wednesday afternoon.

Residents are encouraged to monitor local weather updates and plan accordingly, especially for outdoor activities or travel during frost-prone mornings.

Stay warm and prepared this weekend as Memphis heads into a crisp, sunny week ahead.
