Memphis, TN — Tennessee is in for a chilly start to the weekend with morning lows dipping into the 40s. Areas across the state, including Memphis, will wake up to brisk, fall-like temperatures.

According to the National Weather Service, Saturday and Sunday mornings are expected to be cold, with lows ranging from 40 to 47 degrees in most locations. By the afternoon, however, temperatures will rise into the mid-70s, providing a pleasant contrast to the morning chill.

Residents should prepare for colder mornings, especially in northern and western parts of Tennessee. Areas like Jackson and Union City will see temperatures drop to as low as 42 degrees. Memphis itself will hover around 44 degrees at dawn before warming to 74 degrees by the afternoon.

Sunday’s forecast follows a similar pattern with a chilly morning and pleasant afternoon highs, providing ideal conditions for outdoor activities.
