Nashville, Tennessee – Spring storms will linger in Middle Tennessee through Saturday, with Nashville bracing for another round of showers and potential thunderstorms during peak weekend hours. The National Weather Service says storm chances hit 90% Saturday, with brief heavy rain possibly disrupting outdoor events and travel—especially along I-24 and I-65 during the afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service in Nashville, showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected throughout the day Saturday, mainly before 4 p.m. Winds will shift west-northwest by afternoon, with highs near 70°F. Rainfall amounts may reach up to three-quarters of an inch in some locations.

Saturday night will bring drier skies, but lows will fall into the mid-50s. Sunday offers a full turnaround, with partly cloudy conditions and cooler temps topping out near 70°F. By Sunday night, lows could dip to 48°F—marking the coolest evening of the week.

Clear skies will dominate Monday and Tuesday, with highs in the upper 70s and mild breezes returning. By midweek, however, another system may bring showers and thunderstorms back into the area.
