By nightfall, temperatures will drop to around 36°F, ushering in frosty conditions. Friday morning could see patchy fog and frost before temperatures climb to a high of 56°F in the afternoon.

Friday night brings the coldest stretch of the week, with lows expected to reach 36°F. Areas outside city limits and those along I-240 may experience freezing temperatures. Residents are encouraged to cover sensitive plants and check on pets left outdoors.

Looking ahead to the weekend, Saturday will see sunny skies with a high near 56°F. However, the evening will remain cold, with temperatures falling to 43°F. Sunday marks a slight warm-up, with highs reaching 67°F, but morning frost is still possible in some regions.

Drivers should exercise caution during early mornings, particularly near rural roadways where fog and frost could reduce visibility. Local authorities recommend allowing extra time for commutes and checking weather updates daily.
