San Antonio, Texas – After a sunny and warm Monday with highs in the upper 80s to mid-90s, scattered thunderstorms are expected to return to South-Central Texas from Tuesday through Friday, bringing minor impacts and a shift toward more humid, unsettled conditions.

According to the National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio, scattered showers and storms could begin as early as Tuesday afternoon, continuing daily through at least Friday. While no severe weather is currently expected, localized downpours, lightning, and gusty winds may affect areas including Austin, San Antonio, Del Rio, and the Hill Country. Daily highs will range from the low 80s to near 90°F, with overnight lows staying mild in the upper 60s to low 70s.

Drivers should stay alert for wet roads during commutes, especially along I-35 from New Braunfels to Georgetown and US-90 westward toward Eagle Pass. Residents are advised to secure outdoor items, stay weather-aware, and avoid flooded low-water crossings.

The weekend looks drier, with isolated storms possible Saturday before clearer skies return. Updates from the NWS will continue as rain chances evolve, especially if storm activity intensifies midweek.
