Springfield, MO – The National Weather Service in Springfield reports that the upcoming November 8–14 period is expected to bring warmer-than-average temperatures and below-normal precipitation across the Missouri Ozarks region.
According to the latest 8-to-14 day outlook, ensemble models show temperatures trending 5 to 7 degrees above normal, with typical highs ranging from 56°F to 62°F and lows from 36°F to 40°F. The extended forecast suggests a continuation of the mild, dry weather pattern that has dominated much of late October.
Forecasters say the warm signal is strongest across southern and central Missouri, extending into northern Arkansas and eastern Kansas, while rainfall chances remain low, averaging 0.85 to 1.02 inches, below seasonal norms.
The outlook indicates that residents should expect pleasant fall conditions to persist, though the lack of rain could delay soil moisture recovery and affect late-season agriculture in parts of the region.
Weather experts recommend staying updated on local forecasts as mid-November approaches, since longer-range models can shift with changing atmospheric patterns.
