Fort Wayne, IN — Heavy spring rain and the chance of snow are creating dangerous conditions across northern Indiana this weekend, with Fort Wayne under a Flood Watch through 8 a.m. Sunday. Saturday’s storm system is expected to bring thunderstorms, wind gusts, and potential street flooding.

According to the National Weather Service, the heaviest rainfall is expected Saturday afternoon and evening, with an 80% chance of showers and isolated storms. Rainfall could total between a half to three-quarters of an inch. Overnight, the chance of precipitation remains high at 70%, with wind gusts reaching 25 mph.
