Las Vegas, NV – A spring warm-up is sweeping across the Southwest, bringing highs in the 80s and 90s to parts of southern Nevada, southeastern California, and northwestern Arizona through midweek.

According to the National Weather Service Las Vegas, temperatures will peak Monday through Wednesday with Las Vegas reaching 88°F, Lake Havasu touching 93°F, and Bishop, CA climbing into the high 70s. The warming trend will begin to taper off late Thursday, with a breezy cooldown arriving by Friday, March 28.

In Las Vegas, expect sunny skies and daytime highs between 82°F and 88°F through Wednesday, with temperatures falling back to the high 70s by Friday. Lake Havasu residents can anticipate highs over 90°F through midweek before cooler conditions arrive. Bishop will see more moderate highs in the mid-to-upper 70s, with low 70s returning late week.

The NWS advises residents to stay hydrated, limit outdoor activity during peak heat, and monitor for windy conditions later in the week, which may impact travel in exposed areas. While not extreme for this region, the early heat wave is above seasonal norms and serves as a reminder of shifting spring conditions in the Southwest.
