Milwaukee, WI – Showers and thunderstorms are set to impact southern Wisconsin today, with a cold front gradually pushing through the region. Thunderstorms, including some embedded ones, will continue throughout the morning and early afternoon. Expect rainfall totals between 0.1 to 0.5 inches.

According to the US National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan, the cold front will bring gusty northwest winds of 20-25 mph this afternoon, followed by drier and cooler conditions. As a result, travelers along major routes such as I-94 and I-43 should prepare for reduced visibility and slick roads through midday.

By late Sunday, temperatures will drop significantly, leading to cooler weather for the beginning of the workweek. Monday will bring highs in the mid-60s, with calmer conditions expected. Residents are advised to plan accordingly, as cooler, drier air will persist through the week.
