Evansville, IN – Southern Indiana is bracing for the remnants of Potential Tropical Cyclone Nine, expected to bring heavy rain and possible flooding starting Saturday morning.
The NWS predicts that southern parts of the state, particularly near Evansville, could experience two to four inches of rain as the storm weakens over the region. Flood warnings may be issued, especially for areas along rivers and streams.
Local authorities are advising residents to monitor weather alerts closely and to avoid traveling through flood-prone areas. Low-lying roads could be closed due to rising waters, and motorists are encouraged to exercise caution.
