Paducah, KY – Southern Illinois and Western Kentucky residents can look forward to clear skies and above-average temperatures this week. Highs will range from 83 to 92 degrees with sunshine continuing into Saturday. The warming trend peaks on Friday and Saturday, with temperatures nearing 90 degrees.

According to the National Weather Service, a partial lunar eclipse will begin Tuesday night at 8:41 p.m. and will last until early Wednesday morning. The rare celestial event includes a harvest moon and a supermoon, providing excellent viewing conditions—provided the weather remains clear.

Residents are encouraged to step outside and enjoy this stunning event, as Wednesday is expected to bring another sunny day with highs in the mid-to-upper 80s. There is no rain forecast, but some areas may experience mild cloud cover, potentially obscuring the moon for brief periods.
