Milwaukee, WI – Drivers along I-94 in Wisconsin face dense fog this morning, with visibility reduced to a quarter mile or less. A Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect for areas north of Interstate 94 until noon and for Iowa and Lafayette counties until 6 a.m.

According to the National Weather Service, conditions are expected to improve gradually from southeast to northwest. Motorists should use caution and allow extra travel time as visibility will remain low in some areas. Rain is also forecast Friday evening, potentially creating additional challenges for post-holiday travel.

Today’s high in Milwaukee will reach 46°F, with patchy drizzle persisting through the morning hours. Rain will intensify after dark and continue overnight into Saturday, accompanied by patchy fog. Travelers should monitor updates and prepare for wet roads.

Saturday will bring mostly cloudy skies and a high near 46°F. Gusty winds of up to 25 mph are expected. A chance of rain lingers Sunday, with highs in the mid-40s. Temperatures will cool slightly Monday and Tuesday, with partly sunny conditions returning briefly before rain chances increase again midweek.

Those planning weekend travel across southeast Wisconsin should remain vigilant for changing weather conditions. Use headlights, reduce speed in fog, and check for updated advisories before heading out.
