Milwaukee, WI – Southeast Wisconsin is set to experience heavy rain tonight as low-pressure systems push in from Lake Michigan. Rain showers are expected to develop late this evening and continue through Tuesday, impacting Milwaukee, Racine, and Kenosha Counties.

According to the National Weather Service in Milwaukee, showers will increase overnight, with a 55% chance of rain by early Tuesday in Milwaukee. Areas such as Racine and Kenosha will see similar rain patterns, with the highest chances coming in the early morning. The potential for heavy rain remains throughout Tuesday, although conditions should improve by Wednesday.

Temperatures will drop into the 50s overnight before warming slightly midweek. Cooler weather is forecast for Wednesday and Thursday, followed by a return of rainfall by Friday. The NWS advises residents to prepare for wet conditions, particularly during the Tuesday morning commute.

Pleasant weather is expected to return midweek, with drier conditions on Wednesday and Thursday before rain chances increase again.
