Houston, TX – Southeast Texas residents can expect a rollercoaster of temperatures as the region braces for chilly nights and sunny days through the weekend. Forecasts show freezing conditions Friday night in northern areas, with some parts dipping into the 30s.
According to the National Weather Service, highs on Thursday and Friday will reach the mid-60s, offering pleasant sunny conditions for daytime plans. However, temperatures are expected to plummet after sunset, with lows in the 40s across Houston and as low as 32°F in areas north of I-10, including Conroe and The Woodlands. Residents should take precautions to protect plants and pets from the cold overnight temperatures.
