Detroit, MI – Southeast Michigan residents can expect a warming trend this weekend, with temperatures climbing into the mid-50s, according to the National Weather Service. After several days of cooler conditions, daytime highs will approach the low 50s for April 11, which is slightly below normal.

The weather will remain dry through Saturday, but cooler winds from Lake Huron will keep temperatures lower, particularly along the lakeshore. By Saturday, temperatures will range from the mid-50s during the day, with overnight lows between 33°F and 38°F.

Sunday, however, brings a change as rain is expected to move into the region. Forecasters predict a 20-40% chance of rain during the day, with temperatures hovering in the low 50s.

For those making plans, the best conditions for outdoor activities will be Saturday, with dry skies and mild temperatures. Residents should prepare for the potential rain on Sunday, as it could impact travel or outdoor plans.
