Corpus Christi, TX – A freeze warning remains in effect for inland areas of South Texas through 9 a.m. Sunday, with temperatures dropping to 27-32 degrees overnight. Wind chills could fall as low as 25 degrees, making it crucial for residents to protect pets, plants, and pipes.

According to the National Weather Service, today’s high will reach 57 degrees under sunny skies, but clear weather tonight will allow temperatures to plummet. Freeze warnings cover cities including Alice, Tilden, and Beeville, while coastal areas, like Corpus Christi, will remain slightly warmer.

Prepare by wrapping exposed pipes and checking outdoor faucets. Pets should be brought indoors overnight. Sunday’s forecast includes a chance of showers after 9 a.m., with highs near 59. Temperatures will remain chilly through Monday.
