Miami, FL – South Florida residents can expect a shift in weather this weekend as a cold front sweeps through late Friday. Today’s high will reach 82 degrees under sunny skies, but cooler temperatures and breezier conditions are on the horizon.

According to the National Weather Service, Friday night will see temperatures drop to the low 70s as the front moves south. A 20% chance of afternoon showers lingers into Saturday, with highs expected to hover around 77 degrees. Winds will pick up significantly, reaching 14 mph and gusting up to 18 mph along major roadways like I-95 and US-1.

Sunday ushers in cooler, partly sunny weather with a high near 75. Overnight lows will dip to the mid-60s, marking a noticeable chill for the region. By Monday, temperatures will stabilize in the low to mid-70s with continued breezy conditions, making it ideal for outdoor plans.

Motorists should remain cautious of gusty winds on elevated highways and bridges. Pedestrians venturing outside should also bundle up as wind chills may make the air feel cooler than forecasted.

Next week promises steady improvements with highs climbing back to the mid-70s under clear skies. Residents should use this opportunity to prepare for colder nights and plan any outdoor holiday activities accordingly.
