Miami, FL — Veterans Day will bring breezy conditions and slight chances of showers across South Florida, potentially affecting outdoor activities planned for the holiday. Monday’s high is set to reach 84°F with occasional showers and wind gusts reaching up to 25 mph in Miami and nearby areas along the east coast metro.

According to the National Weather Service, South Florida will see a 20% chance of showers on Monday, starting early in the morning and continuing intermittently. Light to moderate breezes from the southeast, shifting southwest, will bring gusts up to 18 mph in the morning before calming down by the evening. Those attending outdoor events for Veterans Day should prepare for sudden gusts and occasional sprinkles, especially near coastal roadways such as U.S. Route 1.

Looking ahead, the five-day forecast predicts mostly sunny skies for Tuesday, with highs again reaching the mid-80s. By Wednesday, another breezy day is expected, with a high near 81°F. Winds from the northeast will range between 15 to 20 mph, with gusts up to 25 mph in areas like Miami Beach. Showers are unlikely mid-week, making it a good period for outdoor activities.

The outlook for Thursday and Friday shows temperatures near 80°F with calm conditions and mostly sunny skies. Overnight lows will dip into the low 70s, providing a cooler and comfortable atmosphere for evening plans.

Residents and visitors in Miami and the South Florida region should stay informed on updated forecasts and remain cautious of breezy conditions through the holiday and into midweek.
