Saturday’s high is expected to reach only 14°F, with wind chills near -10°F. Sunday brings slightly warmer conditions, but the bitter cold will persist, with nighttime lows around -1°F. The cold snap is forecast to last through at least Wednesday, with Monday’s high near 15°F and wind chills staying below zero.
Residents are urged to limit outdoor exposure, wear layers, and check on vulnerable individuals, including the elderly and pets. Officials recommend ensuring vehicle batteries are in working condition and carrying jumper cables when traveling.
