Quad Cities, IA/IL – Light rain showers remain possible tonight for areas south of Dubuque, Iowa, to Williamsburg, Iowa. The showers will affect the region overnight as temperatures drop to the upper 40s in the northwest and upper 50s southeast.
According to the National Weather Service, lingering showers will taper off by Tuesday morning, particularly east of the Mississippi River. Winds from the northeast will range between 5-10 mph overnight. By Tuesday, the forecast predicts low 70s during the day and temperatures dropping near 50 degrees by night.
Wednesday is expected to bring dry, seasonal weather with lots of sunshine. Temperatures will rise to the mid-to-upper 70s, with nighttime lows in the upper 40s to low 50s. Winds will shift northward at 5-10 mph, making for pleasant midweek conditions across the region.
